Welcome to the Top End Storm Swimming Club

Top End Storm is one of the Territory's very best swimming clubs.

At Top End Storm our swimmers come first and we have a range of squads designed to meet the individual needs of all children. And we think our coaching team is the best and most experienced going around.

Since the club was formed back in 2004, membership has grown steadily - and we're growing in other ways too. We now have swimmers from across the Top End training at three different venues - at our Yarrawonga and Coconut Grove Goldfishbowl pools, as well as morning and afternoon sessions at Casuarina pool.

Our swimmers compete regularly at a range of swim meets that run between August and April each year. For this year's calender of events, just click on 'Competition' at the top of this page.

Top End Storm is an inclusive club – and we like to encourage family and friends to support us in any way they can. For example, they can become members themselves, help out at club nights and swim meets, or participate in the various fundraising events we organise during the year. 

We also like to get our swimmers involved in the running of the place. Our Club Captains - Jessica Jones, Aaron Halliwell and Jack Dowd - are supported by seven 'Storm Ambassadors'. This group of young swimmers are products of the Storm Ambassador Program - the first leadership program implemented at a Territory swimming club. 

The Captains and Ambassadors have a number of important roles, including supporting our youngest swimmers at training and at our Friday Club Nights, helping to promote Top End Storm to the wider community, and assisting our coaching staff at training and at swim meets.  

Parents are also crucial in taking the club forward through their membership on the Top End Storm committee.
